Sapota or Chikoo is a well-liked yummy tropical fruit, round or oval in shape. It is lusciously sweet with smooth or grainy texture and light musky zest. It is a fine supply of vitamin c, a and some of the b-complex vitamins like folate, niacin (b3) and pantothenic acid. It has minerals such as iron, copper, phosphorous, potassium, manganese and zinc. You can either eat them raw or drink the juice they will taste better in both the ways. They can also be used for making shakes or sweets like halwa or barfi. Store them in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
